The short version: SignalBots collects only the data needed to deliver our AI trading signals, browser extensions, Telegram bots, mobile apps, MT4/MT5 connector, TradingView webhook bridge, and web dashboard. We never sell your personal data, we never read your broker credentials, and we never place trades without your explicit configuration. You can review, export, or delete your data from your account at any time.
1. Scope & Our Commitment
This Privacy Policy explains how SignalBots ("SignalBots", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use any of our services — including the SignalBots website, the web dashboard at signalbots.ai, the Pocket Option / Quotex / Olymp Trade browser extensions, the SignalBots Telegram bots and channels, our iOS and Android mobile apps, the MT4/MT5 auto-execution connector, the TradingView webhook bridge, and any related APIs (collectively, the "Services").
Trading involves real money. We take that seriously, which is why our default position is to collect the minimum data necessary for each feature to function, and to make that processing transparent on this page.
2. How We Collect Your Data
We collect information in four ways:
- When you create an account or subscribe: via email/password, Google sign-in, or our newsletter form. You actively provide the data.
- When you configure a Service: for example, when you install a browser extension, connect Telegram, link an MT4/MT5 terminal, or set up a TradingView webhook URL, we record the configuration you choose.
- Automatically while you use the Services: server logs, signal delivery metrics, latency measurements, and aggregate usage data are recorded so we can keep our promise of sub-10ms signal latency and diagnose problems.
- From third-party platforms you connect: if you sign in with Google, link a Telegram account, or authorize a trading platform, we receive limited profile data from that provider (such as your name, email, or platform username — never your password).
3. What Data We Collect
The exact data we hold depends on which Services you use:
Account & identity data
- Name, email address, optional profile photo, and authentication identifiers (Google sub-ID if you use Google sign-in).
- Newsletter preferences and inferred country (from your IP at signup) so we can localize examples and respect regional regulations.
Service configuration data
- Browser extensions: the broker you connected (e.g. Pocket Option, Quotex), your in-extension signal preferences, and the asset list you follow. We do not capture your broker login, your balance, or your trade history.
- Telegram: your Telegram user ID and the channels/bots you subscribed to, so we can deliver signals to the right place.
- MT4/MT5 connector: the EA (Expert Advisor) license key, the account number it is bound to (used only for license enforcement), and the execution preferences you set (lot sizing, max risk per trade). Your broker password is never transmitted to SignalBots.
- TradingView webhooks: the unique webhook URL we issue to you and the JSON payloads it forwards. Payloads are forwarded to your connected execution target and retained briefly for delivery confirmation.
- Web dashboard: your watchlists, risk-manager settings, alert preferences, and the strategies you have backtested or saved.
Signal & trade activity
- Which signals were delivered to you, when they were delivered, and (if you enable performance tracking) whether you opened the resulting trade.
- We do not store your actual P&L from your broker unless you explicitly connect a performance-tracking integration and grant read access.
Technical & device data
- IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers (for the mobile apps), language, time zone, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Crash logs, performance metrics, and (for the mobile apps) push-notification tokens.
Payment data
- If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment processors. SignalBots receives the subscription tier, renewal date, and billing country — we never see or store full card numbers or bank credentials.
4. Tracking Technologies & Why We Use Them
We use a small set of online tracking technologies — cookies, local storage, server-side analytics, and SDK identifiers in our mobile apps — for three reasons:
- To keep you signed in across the dashboard and the browser extension without asking for your password every visit.
- To measure Service health — particularly the signal-delivery latency that our entire product depends on. Without these measurements we cannot detect a slow webhook or a stalled Telegram delivery.
- To improve the product — anonymized aggregate counts of which signal types are used most, which assets are most followed, which dashboard pages traders return to. This data is processed in aggregate and is not used to identify individuals.
We do not use tracking technologies to build advertising profiles or to share your behavior with ad networks.
5. Cookies on SignalBots
Cookies are small text files saved by your browser to remember your preferences and keep you signed in. SignalBots uses two categories:
- Essential cookies (always on):
sb_session(your signed-in session) andcsrftoken(protection against cross-site request forgery). These are required for the site to work and cannot be disabled. - Non-essential cookies (consent required): analytics cookies and A/B-test cookies, both prefixed
sb_. These are only set after you accept them via our consent banner. You can revoke consent at any time from the dashboard's privacy settings.
All first-party cookies use the sb_ prefix so they are easy to recognize.
6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can review, restrict, or delete cookies directly from your browser at any time:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies (or Cookies and other site data).
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Apple Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- SignalBots browser extensions: the extension's own settings panel lets you clear all stored configuration.
Blocking essential cookies will sign you out of the dashboard. Blocking non-essential cookies will not affect signal delivery or trade execution.
7. How We Use Your Data
We use the data described above for the following purposes only:
- To deliver the Services you signed up for — pushing signals through the extension, Telegram, mobile push, MT4/MT5, and TradingView webhooks.
- To send transactional and account communications — sign-in confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts, and important service notices. These cannot be opted out of for as long as you have an active account.
- To send the marketing newsletter and product updates — only if you opted in, and with one-click unsubscribe in every message.
- To measure and improve signal quality — by analyzing aggregated win-rate and latency data. Compliance pages (such as our risk warning) and the historical performance figures shown anywhere on the site are derived from these aggregates.
- To protect against fraud and abuse — for example, detecting abnormal API usage that may indicate a stolen webhook URL or a leaked extension license.
- To meet our legal obligations — including tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, and lawful requests from competent regulators in jurisdictions where we operate.
We do not use your data to make automated trading decisions on your behalf. Every trade executed by an MT4/MT5 bot, a TradingView webhook, or any other automation runs strictly inside the parameters you configured.
8. With Whom We Share Your Data
SignalBots does not sell your personal data. We share it only in these narrowly defined cases:
- Infrastructure providers acting on our behalf: cloud hosting, database, email delivery, push-notification, payment processing, and customer-support tools. These vendors are contractually restricted to using your data solely to provide their service to us.
- Connected platforms you authorize: if you connect Telegram, MT4/MT5, or a TradingView webhook, we exchange the minimum data required to deliver your signals or trades to that destination.
- Legal & regulatory authorities: when a binding legal order requires disclosure, or when sharing is necessary to investigate fraud or protect the safety of users and the integrity of the Services.
- Successor entity in a corporate event: if SignalBots is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the successor, who will remain bound by this policy or a comparable one.
9. Third-Party Trading Platforms
SignalBots integrates with brokers, exchanges, and trading platforms (Pocket Option, Quotex, Olymp Trade, MetaTrader 4 and 5, TradingView, Binance, Bybit, FTMO, and others). These platforms are independent of SignalBots and operate under their own privacy policies. When you connect one of them:
- We never receive your broker password. Our connectors authenticate using API keys, signed webhooks, or platform-issued tokens — never your raw login.
- The broker or exchange remains the controller of your account data on their side, including your balance, your open positions, and your trade history.
- You can revoke any integration at any time from your dashboard's "Connections" page or from the third-party platform's own settings.
10. Data Retention & Security
We keep your data only for as long as we have a legitimate reason to:
- Account data: for as long as your account is active, plus a short grace period after deletion in case you change your mind.
- Signal delivery logs: typically up to 24 months, so we can show you historical performance and reconcile disputes about delivery.
- Billing records: for the period required by tax and accounting law in our jurisdiction.
- Server & security logs: short-term, typically a few weeks, longer only if needed for an active investigation.
Security measures we apply include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive fields, strict role-based access for our own staff, audit logging of administrative actions, and isolated production environments. No system is 100% secure, but we work to meet or exceed industry standards.
11. Your Rights & Choices
Wherever you live, we offer the same baseline rights. In jurisdictions such as the EU, the UK, California, and similar regimes, these rights are also guaranteed by local law:
- Access & export: you can download a copy of your account data from the dashboard.
- Correction: update your name, email, or any profile field at any time from the dashboard.
- Deletion: delete your account and associated personal data. We retain only the records we are legally required to keep (such as billing history).
- Restriction & objection: pause certain processing — for example, opt out of analytics or marketing — without losing access to the core Services.
- Withdraw consent: revoke consent for non-essential cookies, marketing emails, or any integration you previously authorized.
- Complain to a regulator: if you believe we have mishandled your data, you can contact your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, use the dashboard's privacy settings or email us at the address in the Contact Us section. We respond within 30 days.
12. Children's Privacy
SignalBots is not intended for, and is not directed at, individuals under 18 years of age. Trading is a financial activity for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes — such as adding a new category of data processing or a new sharing partner — will be announced via email or an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Minor wording changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
14. Contact Us
For any privacy question, data-access request, or concern about how your data is handled, please contact us:
- Email: signalbots.ai (at) gmail.com
- Contact form: signalbots.ai/contact
If your inquiry concerns a specific integration (Telegram, MT4/MT5, TradingView, the browser extension), please mention it in the subject line so we can route the request correctly.
15. Frequently Asked Questions
Does SignalBots see my broker password or my account balance?
No. None of our integrations require your broker password. The MT4/MT5 connector runs locally as an Expert Advisor on your own terminal; webhook integrations use platform-issued URLs and signed payloads. Your balance and open positions never leave your broker.
Will SignalBots place trades on my account without me asking?
No. Trade execution only happens when you have explicitly enabled an automation (such as the MT4/MT5 bot or a TradingView webhook) and configured the rules — asset, lot size, risk limits — yourself. We never override your settings.
Can I use SignalBots without creating an account?
Most of the public website — including the markets pages, the magazine, and historical signals — is browsable without an account. Personalized features (the dashboard, the browser extension, MT4/MT5, Telegram delivery) require a signed-in account so we can deliver your signals to the right destination.
How can I delete my account?
Open the dashboard, go to Settings → Privacy, and click "Delete my account." Your account is queued for deletion immediately and permanently removed after a short grace period. Records we are legally required to retain (such as billing receipts) are kept for the minimum legal duration and then deleted.
Does SignalBots transfer my data outside my country?
Our infrastructure is hosted on cloud providers that operate globally. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on the legal mechanisms recognized in your jurisdiction (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep the protections of this policy in force.
