DAX Trading Signals for Germany's 40 Largest Companies

The DAX tracks 40 of Germany's largest listed companies, many of them exporters, so it reacts to global demand, the euro exchange rate, ECB policy and news from China. Unlike most indices it is a total-return index, calculated as if dividends were reinvested. Each DAX signal reads the index's trend from price against its 200-period average and publishes a complete plan with entry, stop and four targets.

DAX Signals in Frankfurt Trading Hours

New DAX signals are issued between 9:00 and 17:30 Frankfurt time, the Xetra trading session, with daylight saving handled automatically. Outside those hours many brokers keep quoting the index on thinner trading. A DAX trade still open at 17:30 is tracked again from the next morning's open, and the overnight gap is counted in its result rather than skipped.

The Eurex DAX futures contract, FDAX, is signalled in a separate section here. FDAX trades for longer hours than the Xetra cash session, so its setups can appear while the cash index is closed, and they are built from the futures contract's own prices. Futures results are kept as percentage moves, separate from the cash DAX record, so the two can be compared but are never added together.

Minimum stop distance

DAX Signals with a Minimum Stop of About 50 Points

The DAX is a fast index, and a stop that looks safe can be reached within a single candle. On 30m, 1h and 4h charts, a setup is only published when its stop is at least 0.2% of the index away, around 50 points at current levels, and it typically sits further out, beyond the latest ten-candle swing. Scalping setups on 1m and 5m have no minimum and carry a higher cost per target.

Telegram delivery

DAX Signals on Telegram

DAX setups go to Telegram as they are published during the Frankfurt session, with each trade's later levels added as replies under the original message. That suits traders outside Germany who follow the index around their own working day and want the whole trade in one place. Setups that are already three candles old are left out rather than sent after the move.
