The XM trading bot on this page is the ICT AI Signal Expert Advisor, a free EA that loads natively on the MT5 side of your XM account and auto-trades ICT and SMC setups. It reads order blocks, fair value gaps and killzones in real time, and every order goes into the market with its stop-loss and target already attached, so the exit plan exists before the trade opens. XM lists more than 1,000 instruments, including metals such as gold beside forex majors and crosses, so you choose the symbol the EA works. A stop limits planned risk, but a gap can fill it worse than its level, and trading carries risk of loss.

No-requote execution

No Requotes on XM When the EA Fires a Killzone Entry

An ICT entry depends on a precise fill, because its stop sits close to the level the engine mapped. XM executes with no requotes and no rejected orders, so when a killzone setup confirms, the order is not bounced back for a new price. The EA's structure read, a BOS or CHoCH plus the order block mapping, completes in under 10ms, and XM's execution means that speed is not lost waiting on a re-priced fill. Execution still has limits in fast markets: a news spike or weekend gap can fill a stop worse than its level, and slippage varies by account type, so trading carries risk of loss.

Does XM Allow Robot Trading Under CySEC and XM Global?

Whether robot trading is allowed on XM comes down to the entity that holds your account: its licence, leverage cap and automation rules differ between them, so read that entity's fine print before you connect an EA, even though XM's MT5 terminal loads the file natively. Trading Point of Financial Instruments Ltd is authorised by CySEC under licence 120/10 and follows EU MiFID rules. XM Global Limited is regulated by Belize's Financial Services Commission under licence 8557558. XM's leverage runs up to 1:1000 depending on region and is capped at 1:30 under ESMA. More leverage frees margin, your per-trade risk cap still sets size, and trading carries risk of loss.

XM is a multi-entity forex/CFD broker. Its licence, leverage cap and automation rules depend on which of its regulated entities holds your account, so check the fine print before you connect an EA.

  • XM operates through several licensed entities: Trading Point of Financial Instruments Ltd is authorised by CySEC in Cyprus (licence 120/10, EU/MiFID rules), while XM Global Limited is regulated by Belize's Financial Services Commission (licence 8557558) for international clients; XM no longer holds an ASIC (Australia) licence.
  • XM's Help Center explicitly confirms both MT4 and MT5 support Expert Advisors and trading robots; an EA only runs while the terminal stays connected to XM's servers, and it deactivates automatically if you log out or go offline.
  • XM advertises a negative-balance-protection policy platform-wide (you cannot lose more than your account balance), but its terms let XM refuse to honour that protection in cases of abusive trading, and leverage differs sharply by entity, up to 1:1000 offshore versus capped at 1:30 for CySEC retail clients under ESMA rules.
  • XM does not service residents of the US, Canada, Israel, Iran or other sanctioned countries, and some account types or servers can have algorithmic trading disabled: confirm automated trading is enabled for your account before running a signal-driven EA.

  • Retail off-exchange forex dealers must register with the CFTC and be NFA Forex Dealer Members; soliciting retail forex orders, including for an automated system, requires NFA registration.
  • The SEC, NASAA and FINRA jointly warn that a phrase like “our proprietary AI system can't lose” signals an unregistered scheme, not legitimate automation.
