TMGM's Client Agreement explicitly permits Expert Advisors on its MetaTrader platforms, but your licence, leverage cap and negative balance protection depend on which entity holds the account. Trademax Australia Limited holds AFSL 436416 with ASIC, and that retail entity caps leverage lower. Trademax Global Limited is registered with Vanuatu's VFSC under no. 40356, TMGM's offshore entity allows leverage up to 1:1000, and TMGM also operates under CMA (Kenya) and FSC (Mauritius) licences. Whichever entity you join, higher leverage only frees margin while your per-trade risk cap sets the position size, and trading carries risk of loss.

Inside a London or New York killzone, a liquidity sweep takes out the orders resting beyond a swing, a break of structure confirms the shift, and the EA waits for price to return into the fair value gap or order block left behind. It maps structure and PD arrays in real time, and when that return validates, the order is in the market in under 10ms with its stop and target attached. TMGM's own rules

TMGM is a multi-entity forex/CFD broker; its licence, leverage cap and negative-balance protection depend on which entity holds your account, and its Client Agreement explicitly permits Expert Advisors on MT4/MT5.

  • TMGM is regulated across several entities: Trademax Australia Limited holds AFSL 436416 with ASIC, Trademax Global Limited is registered with the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC, no. 40356), and TMGM also operates under CMA (Kenya) and FSC (Mauritius) licences depending on jurisdiction.
  • TMGM's Client Agreement places no restriction on trading strategy and explicitly allows scalping, hedging, news trading and Expert Advisors (automated/algo trading) on both MT4 and MT5, including on Classic, Edge and Swap Free account types.
  • Leverage and loss protection differ by entity: ASIC-regulated retail accounts are capped at 1:30 with negative-balance protection guaranteed by Australian law, while the offshore VFSC/CMA/FSC structure offers leverage up to 1:500 (higher for eligible professional clients) with negative-balance protection applied only as a discretionary broker policy, not a regulatory guarantee, and TMGM is not part of any investor-compensation scheme outside Australia.
  • Running an EA on TMGM still exposes an account to slippage, requotes and stop-outs during volatile news events, and the Hedging Counterparty and Warning of Fully Hedged Stop Out policies note conditions where hedged positions can still be force-closed.   • Under the EU's MiFID II, firms running algorithmic strategies must keep pre-trade risk controls, governance and testing in place. ESMA extended that scrutiny to AI-driven trading systems in 2026.
  • The FCA (UK) and ASIC (Australia) cap retail CFD leverage from 30:1 down to 2:1 and require negative-balance protection: a hard limit on the exposure any EA can take on a retail account.
  • Regulators consistently report that most retail CFD accounts lose money; automating the entries does not change that base rate.

US persons face a distinct set of rules for automated forex, futures and securities trading, and a specific regulator advisory aimed at trading bots.

  • The CFTC's advisory “AI Won't Turn Trading Bots into Money Machines” names automated-bot and AI-signal scams directly: one fake-AI forex-bot case ended in a $3.4 billion judgment.
  • Retail off-exchange forex dealers must register with the CFTC and be NFA Forex Dealer Members; soliciting retail forex orders, including for an automated system, requires NFA registration.
  • The SEC, NASAA and FINRA jointly warn that a phrase like “our proprietary AI system can't lose” signals an unregistered scheme, not legitimate automation.
