Toobit: licence & API/bot policy

Toobit is the exchange the ICT EA connects to over API on crypto pairs; check its licensing status and API key permission model before you automate.

  • Toobit is operated by Hopeful Technology Co., Ltd. under Cayman Islands law and holds a US MSB (Money Services Business) registration with FinCEN (registration number 31000234013623), an anti-money-laundering registration, not a consumer-protection trading licence, and it is not licensed by the SEC, CFTC, FCA or another market regulator.
  • Toobit officially supports API trading: keys are created per-user (max 10 active keys, each expiring after 90 days) with adjustable permission scopes, and a trade-only key cannot withdraw, transfer or otherwise move funds off the account, so an EA/bot connected on a trade-only key can place and manage orders but cannot move your balance.
  • Toobit restricts access from US IP addresses and states disputes are subject to arbitration in Singapore, so US-based traders should not expect the platform's terms to be enforceable through a US court or regulator.
  • Automated strategies still trade Toobit's real order book and slippage/liquidity conditions on the pairs you select: the EA follows Toobit's own trading rules and fee schedule, and historical backtest results do not guarantee live outcomes.
